The Gold and Silver Waterfalls are both very pretty and best seen in the early to late spring. There are trails to each waterfall and the signs easily mark the way to each of the different waterfalls. Both can be reached rather easily, although to get a birds eye view you'll need to do a bit of hiking. Just be careful because the rocks are very slippery and the mountain sides can be rather loose in certain areas. I've also noticed a lot of snakes in the area. The days I went out there the ground was crawling with quite a number of small gartersnakes. They are quite harmless and are just trying to get out of your way. Please don't harm them. They help the balance of nature and in their own way contribute to all that you seen in the area around the waterfalls. The Silver Falls are easier to reach to take photographs; the trail is nearly flat. The trail to the Golden Falls is a bit on the steeper side and may not be accessible to those of you with certain disabilities.
