I think I’ve mentioned this a time of two before, and it’s on my email page, but I cannot respond to hotmail addies. It’s not my choice, rather it’s MSN’s. The hosting company on which my site is located has been put on MSN’s spam list so please use an alternate email addie – remember I still have lots of Gmail accounts for free.

This week’s tides
Nothing dramatic to note, but the low tides are low enough for clamming in certain areas along the bays. My guess would be crabbing is going to be slow for the recreational crabber with lots of soft shells, small crabs and hopefully lots of dungeness female crabs.  The red-rocks are always around, but hardly worth the bother.   Fishing should be great, and sand shrimp seem to be the bait of choice.

Once Again
It seems the weeks fly by, and before I know it time is here to do a bit of work on the site. I’ve made the usual changes, but this week I didn’t reduce the quality of the photos as much as I have in the past so loading times will be a bit longer. It’s hard taking good photos and even harder for me to see them reduced to such poor quality to upload them to the net. I’ve tried taking a middle ground this week so let me know if the load times are too slow for you.
Have a great week – hope you got some time in clamming. Great low summer tides.

4 Years
The site has passed it’s 4th birthday. I know when I first started it I hadn’t really planned for such a long run, but with viewers like you and my continued passion for photography and the local area will no doubt fuel this site for many years to come. Thanks!

Something New
I never tell you much about myself, and probably never will, but one thing I thought might make you smile is the success of my neck surgery and one of  my “newfound” passages somewhere in my throat in which I can now make anything I drink come out my nose.  Fortuantely, all I drink is water these days – I’m not sure it would have went over well in my  coffee drinking days.Â
