Commercial crabbing has been over for some time, and the season was good but not great for the fishermen. Recreational crabbing is still good, but with each approaching day the crabbing will start to fall off and by the end of February it will taper off quite fast. Need help? Send me an email or check the website for dungeness crabbing information.

Great Time for Crabbing and Clamming
I just posted the tide tables and there are some fair to good days for clamming this week – along with the sunny weather and lack of rain for the past week I all expect the crabbing to be well above average.

Beautiful Winter Weather
Well, after a rather strong start to the winter the Bay Area will be seeing some near summer-time weather over the next week. Predicted highs for Coos Bay will be in the mid-60’s – perfect summer weather.
This would also be a great time to get out dungeness crabbing. I expect the next week with the beautiful weather will make for excellent crabbing; unfortunately the tides for clamming are not good for the next week.

Happy New Year
I hope that everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe another year has passed; I am happy to announce this website is now 7 years old and growing strong. Thanks for your support
