As one would naturally expect there are boats and marinas all along the coast. All types of boats and ships may be seen in the marinas, but in this part of the country you'll find mostly fishing boats along with Tugboats and some commercial fleet boats. The vast majority of goods entering and leaving the harbors and marinas consist of some type of lumber or fishery products. The majority of consumer products reach the area by truck - I assume thus accounting for the rather expensive prices of many products.
