I go to the Roseburg Veteran's Administration a few times a year, and I always love going during the Spring. They have some beautiful plants and trees blooming this time of year, and I found these cherry trees in full bloom. As the trees start to bloom they have a rather pink color which darkens to a deeper red once they start to bud. The cherry's taste wonderful, but most of them are taken by the many birds which nest in the area.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all the Veterans that have served our country, and those in service now. The Roseburg VA has finally started to get better in terms of service and quality of the facilities. It still saddens me that the service is not what we deserve, but again in the recent wake of the Walter Reed investigation I can see that the Veterans care is now being addressed and I have hopes that the care will continue to get better now that the poor quality care has been made public. I am seeing the facility undergoing a nice face lift, and it just feels like we are now getting the care we deserve.
