The Coast Guard is out most ever day, in one form or another, and anyone that lives along the coasts or makes a living from the Ocean is so very grateful to the men and women providing these services. The boats train hard and long hours too, and when the weather is right the Coast Guard Boats are out training in the high waves found along the coast. This picture was taken just outside the city limits at the jetty in Charleston, but you can see the boats and ships of the Coast Guard working everywhere along the Coastline.
