Doe Blending In with the Grass

I took this picture of the Doe hiding in the grass very near the ocean. I was amazed when I first moved to the area that so many deer live near the ocean. I later found out they quite often will go for a quick dip in the ocean to clean themselves of unwanted fleas, ticks, etc. On a number of occasions I've seen either Elk or deer in the Ocean, usually at low tide but unfortunately for me I didn't have the camera ready in time before they would get scared and leave. This doe was with her young fawn and they blend in with the grass so well that they are nearly impossible to see. I followed the pair for about 30 minutes before they decided they had enough of me. They are not too crazy about people, but I've found with a gentle approach and with no malice intended you can often get very close to them to capture a great picture.
