Some Nice Tree Colors

Back to Oregon Picture Index

The picture below was taken on 6 November 2006 not far from where I live. The fall colors in the trees are certainly a joy to see, but you will need to venture inland to see the changes. The trees do change colors along the coast, but they are much more vibrant in color a few miles inland. I took this picture because I liked the way the leaf-less tree was surrounded by the fall colors of the other trees. It made me a bit philosophic and I realized that even as a life cycle ends, there is abundant beauty in each an every cycle of life. One must believe, that in the end there is only Life.
There is still a bit of green left in some of the trees, but for the most part all the non-evergreens have changed their colors from a nice red to a now brilliant yellow. I was using a Nikon SLR, no tripod, and on full auto mode.
