This is a picture of the Oregon coastline taken just south of the city. The cliffs can reach hundreds of feet high, and it's an awesome sight to watch the ocean waves from the Pacific crash into the shoreline. I took this picture during the late summer (2007) and the Pacific Ocean was very calm with no storms in sight. It turned out to be a great whale watching day. Most of the tourists have left for the season, but I hope pictures like these of Oregon will bring back fond memories.
