I took this picture in the Western Oregon mountains in late October. There are still some beautiful colors to be found in the trees, and as you can see the clouds where just touching the mountain tops. You can also see an area in the mountains where the loggers have been in and have completely clear-cutted all the trees. I must admit it irritates me when I see the destruction caused by the logging, but Oregon does re-plant what they cut for future generations. I dare say enjoy much of the wood you have because there is a very good chance that some of the timber came from Oregon.
