Red Sunset

I have more sunset pictures than perhaps any others, but I still love to head out because you never know what colors might be present on a certain night. This is a rather common scene along the Pacific; their is a large fog bank just at the horizon. The sun had set about 15 minutes prior to this picture and I squeezed out all the light I could with my Nikon SLR by setting the shutter speed extremely slow - about 4 seconds. I've done no artificial manipulation to this photo other than to resize the picture. Nights like this make me once again learn to love Oregon even more than I did.
