Scanner Frequencies |
Home and Sitemap I am providing "some" of the local scanner frequencies for Coos Bay and the local areas. These include, but are not limited to the fire department, the police, coast guard, taxi cabs, and the North Bend Airport. I currently use a RadioShack Pro 2052 dual trunking scanner, although I do not believe the local area is currently using the trunking system. I am NOT providing these frequencies for illegal usage, but as a public service which I use to monitor emergencies such as local fires and weather reports. Sadly, Coos Bay has a very poor Tsunami warning system, but with the scanner I am able to hear detailed weather information 24 hours a day.
I have left out many of the frequencies that are available in the area. A list may also be obtained from the local fire department. It has been recently updated due to some new repeaters which are now in place. I in no way condone the misuse of these frequencies, and should it come to my attention they are being used incorrectly I will remove all but the local fire departments. You can easily find more frequencies using your scan function and setting the upper and lower limits. I have not included certain frequencies for a certain reason. |
