Spring Flowers

Shore Acres Gardens is certainly starting to show off it's colors. The gardens are alive with colors of all varieties, and, the flowers and just blooming everywhere you look. The roses are beginning to bloom, and there are quite a few different rose buses that will be blooming within the next week or two. I'm terrible with the names of flowers, and honestly I've never taken the time to learn the proper names of most flowers.

I'm drawn by their beauty, not their name. I'm sure every color of the rainbow could be found in the flowers, and it will only get better as they continue to grow and blossom. Camera in hand I did my best to take in the day enjoy all the beautiful smells and colors. I've put together a little collage of flower pictures below, and when the garden's are in full bloom later this summer I'll update this page so you can see the difference and beautiful changes.

I would recommend bringing a light jacket no matter what time of year you visit. Normally at the headlands there is a good wind coming off the ocean. I've found the best time to get really nice pictures is either just about noon or about 2 hours before sunset.
