Approaching Storm

This is quite a common scene along the Oregon coast, especially during the fall and winter. This picture is of a storm moving in from the south; often called the Hawaii Express. These storms tend to be very wet, but not as cold as the storms which move in from Alaska. I took this picture late one afternoon, and soon after I left it began to rain - which in Oregon can last for days or weeks on end during the winter. It's really great to see the rain this year and the State is finally catching back up to normal rainfall amounts.
