The tidepools are a unique and watery habitat. The pools can withstand the force of large waves, but can easily be damaged by humans. You need to be careful not to harm any of these wonderful sea creatures, and by following the steps below, your experience can be a safe one for everything involved.

Walk Carefully. Try to avoid stepping on "us".

Handle with Care. Please don't pull or pry the various creatures which cling to the rocks. You will cause serious damage.

Moving Plant and animal life. Should you move rocks or plants to get a better view, please put them back where they were. Everything is vital to a strong life in the tidepools.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has various regulations, so please check them in advance. Also, please avoid closed areas. Do as I do. Take only pictures and leave everything just as you found it for others to enjoy.
