Orange Tunnel Under Mountains

I just loved the color of this tunnel as we passed through the mountains on our way inland. The orange color really makes this tunnel stand out, and they use this color because it's great to help you see when the fog rolls in which is quite normal in Oregon. The tunnel is about a half mile long and passes between two very large mountains. The construction of the tunnel was surely a big job and was completed in the mid 1980's. Oregon has so much to offer and no matter where you turn there is always something colorful to catch your eye. The tunnel is called the Ralph A. Peterson.
