I spend most of my time taking coastal pictures, but when fall arrives I like to get into the inner mountains and enjoy the change of the seasons. The colors of the trees are brilliant, and you never know what type of animal you may find. I never travel with a gun; I only shoot with a camera and I've found animals seem to sense no harm. I've often showed my animal photographs to friends and they can't believe I get as close as I do to some animals. I'm sure I'll be featuring some animal pictures in the weeks to come. The deer are surely out and in the right spots are sadly far too friendly. I would like to caution everyone that there are bears, mountains lions, and other rather unfriendly animals in the area. Hike at your own risk!
