Wild Cat Covered Bridge

I took this picture one day on my back from Central Oregon. This is a picture of the Wild Cat Bridge which was built in 1925 by Lane County under the supervision of A. C. Striker. The bridge cannot be easily seen from the road, but like most of Oregon's covered bridges it's well-maintained and has area to park and to explore the bridge. The day I stopped there were some Salmon fishermen crossing under the bridge, and although they hadn't caught anything the word was that the fishing is generally very good in the area. There are plenty of places to park, and there is a nice road to take a bike hike if that is something you like to do.
