Kite Surfing and Boarding

The pictures below were taken at Whiskey Run Beach. I go out there quite often because I love to drive my four-wheeled vehicle on the beach. It was a windy, cool day and the tide was just starting to go out. There were a group of people kite surfing, and in a few of the pictures you can see that they were quite good at getting some nice air under their boards. The winds were strong enough to keep them moving very fast, and they were able to catch the winds and were able to move down the beach with apparent ease. It looks like great fun, but you'll need the proper equipment, and a complete wetsuit is a must to brave the cold Pacific waters.
